We here at the Brownfield Recreation Department are working hard towards our goal of constructing “The Husky Den” This outdoor pavilion will consist of a cement slab with half walls and a roof. This building will open up the use of our facility to many other events and provide a safe place to skateboard, play floor hockey, roller blade, host a family reunion or a community yard sale. The possibilities are endless! In the winter months this will be the new home to our skating rink. This pavilion will also be completely handicap accessible. Just think on a rainy day instead of your kids sitting in front of the TV now they will have a place to go be active!

We are looking for volunteers to seek out cooperate grants and additional funds that are out there that would relate to this project. If you are interested and/or willing to help either secure funds or construct the building please contact Tara at the Rec Dept.
